It was a beautiful sunny day and a brilliant turn out – so thanks very much to everyone who came along.

Members of our project team met with attendees to talk through all aspects of H100 Fife, including our upcoming work to lay the new hydrogen network in the streets of Levenmouth.

Our project partners Smart Utilities and Warmworks attended the event. Smart Utilities will be working on our behalf to carry out roadworks for H100 Fife. Warmworks were on hand to answer any questions about home surveys and home installation.

Over 140 people attended the event to meet our team of experts. Your feedback is important to us, so thank you to everyone who managed to come along.

H100 Fife Distribution Manager Max Biret said: “I’ve been working with SGN since 2015 and have a background in Energy and Environmental Engineering. I am passionate about new challenges and driving progress while providing sustainable solutions to play my part towards the country’s net zero commitment.

“My job is to build the gas network that will bring green hydrogen from Fife Energy Park, through your streets and into your homes. I was delighted to meet many residents at our information event last month and am excited to be bringing the first ever green hydrogen network to Levenmouth.

“Network construction begins next week, and I’d like to thank the Levenmouth community for your support and patience while we are carrying out this work. It’s important to us to keep everyone informed, You’ll find information about the project in the streets we’ll be working in, on our signage and on our vans. We’ll also be communicating in a variety of ways including on this website, social media and local press and radio. Please do say hello if you live in the area and feel free to ask any questions if you see me, or our contractors.”
